The Boondocks

So I watched the Boondocks season opener.
I was a bit disappointed.
Before assumptions are made, its not because I am an Obama lover (which I am guilty of being from time to time.
It is because it wasnt funny.
Look, the Dyck Riding song excluded,
the episode just wasnt all that funny.
It really felt like he was pissed off about the fact that many black people who have shown apathy aboout "the golden one" have been ostracized and/or unfairly labeled as a hater.
I get that.
but it still needs to be funnny.
And Huey never explained why he was apathetic.
And I expected more Uncle Rucker.

And dayumit, it wasnt all that funny.
what are your thoughts?
