Friday Foolishness.... flat on my a$$

I was prepared to tell you guys about a whole other story for Friday foolishness.

However THIS morning, forced me to tell that story at another time.

I was up fooling around on twitter this morning and did not get back to sleep until late.
Which meant I overslept.
Which lead to me basically getting dressed while simultaneously running out the door.

I had a rubber band for my hair, a bottle of water, a pair of heels, and my purse, and my keys in my hand.
My phone started to ring, so I sat down the purse and my keys to find the phone.
I pick up my purse and my phone and head out the door and just as the door slams shut…..
I realize I left the dayum keys.

Dayum.

I then remembered that the door on the deck was not locked.
I had on semi flat shoes but the bottom was slick.
I decided to try and climb over it anyway thinking that they weren’t all that slick and the deck was wood, the shoes would prevent a splinter.
So of course I grab hold to the side, step up on the bottom part of the deck and…
My foot slips
And I have a bum shoulder so of course when I try to grab hold of the railing again I temporarily forget and use the wrong arm. A pain shoots through my shoulder and I let go and I fall back flat on my a$$.
The benefit of having a big a$$ is that at least it absorbed the impact. But it is sore.
I don’t know if you’ve ever had a sore a$$ before but.. its not something you need in your life. It affects every thing else.
And sitting down becomes the most painful thing so you stand, but that makes you tired and you want to sit and you forget so you start
And the pain hits.

And then while the pain was still new and raw both my husband and my sister call and subsequently laugh hard as hell, pissing me off.
So hard that I don’t ask either of them to come get me.
Which was dumb on my part…
So I end up sitting outside looking dumb
For an hour..
Until pride and the mosquitoes tearing up my cucumber melon scented neck and arms force me to concede and call for a help, a ride and the spare set of keys.

Aw well…
Such is my life…..
